Singer Chappell Roan is all set to release his long-awaited song “The Subway.” Recently, fans noticed teaser posters hanging in New York City and a short video clip from a verified fan account. There is no official release date yet, so stay tuned for future updates.
On June 9, 2024, Roan first premiered the song “The Subway” as an unreleased track during his performance at the Governor’s Ball in New York City. Co-written with Dan Nigro, the song is a downbeat country ballad that chronicles the sadness of a messy breakup in a small town where it’s hard to avoid an ex.
This news follows Chappell's last single “The Giver” which was released on March 13 this year. On the other hand, on July 5, 2025, it was confirmed that the song “Good Luck, Babe!” was one of the longest-charting songs in the Philippines. It reached No. 8 on the Billboard Philippines Hot 100 and remained popular as his only single in 2024.
