A 24-year-old Indian student died after his motorcycle fell off a flyover in Brgy. Banilad, Cebu City recently. The victim was identified as Chetan, a student in Cebu.
Based on a report from the Cebu City Police, the accident occurred at the Gov. Cuenco flyover. The victim was accompanied by a friend who was also riding a separate motorcycle. According to the investigation, Chetan was allegedly driving at high speed as if he was racing.
Due to excessive speed and slippery road conditions caused by the rain, he lost control and skidded. He was thrown from the motorcycle and hit his head on the concrete railing of the flyover, killing him instantly.
