A female High-Value Individual (HVI) was caught in a buy-bust operation in Brgy. Tikay, Malolos City, Bulacan. According to a police report, the operation was conducted at 12:20 a.m. by the Bulacan PNP and Malolos City Police Station.
Confiscated from the 27-year-old suspect were one small and one large package of suspected shabu weighing 500.42 grams. The value of the confiscated drugs is estimated to be P3,402,856. Also included in the evidence recovered was buy-bust money.
The suspect and the evidence were brought to the Bulacan Provincial Forensic Unit for a thorough examination. Preparations are also underway for the filing of a case under Republic Act 9165 or the law against illegal drugs.
According to the police, this is part of the ongoing anti-drug campaign led by PCol. Angel Garcillano and in accordance with the orders of PBrig. Gen. Ponce Rogelio Peñones Jr. The Bulacan PNP continues its operations to curb the illegal drug trade in the province.
