Kiwami, the renowned Japanese food hall, will open its largest branch at SM Mall of Asia on June 25. In one place, you can taste a variety of Japanese dishes such as ramen, sushi, katsu, yakitori, tendon bowls, and soft serve. There are six Master Kitchens, each with its own Japanese-trained chef and specialty.
When you enter Kiwami MoA, you will immediately see a large space with 700 sqm and can seat 250 people. There is a small tree in the middle where you can rest before entering the dining area. The design is made of wood and has warm lighting that gives a relaxing and modern ambiance.
You can choose from different menus from each kitchen. We tasted the Goma-e salmon roll and salmon soy ginger from Koyo which were super fresh and tasty. At Hachibei, we also tried the Hibachi hanger steak grilled over Binchotan charcoal and accompanied by miso sauce.
Also delicious are Hannosuke's crispy ebi tempura, Ippudo's Akamaru ramen with torched chashu, seafood fried rice, and the famous Hokkaido soft serve with Lengua de Gato cone. Even though we wanted to try everything, we were already full from the amount of food.
