Koenigsegg has launched the Sadair’s Spear, a special vehicle limited to 30 units worldwide. It is the brand’s most track-focused car, with 1,625 horsepower using E85 fuel and enhanced aerodynamics. It is named after the last horse of Jesko von Koenigsegg, the father of founder Christian von Koenigsegg.
There are major changes to the front and rear aero packages, including an active double-blade rear wing and larger hood vents. The engine mapping has also been revised to use downforce earlier and more effectively even at low speeds. This results in stronger road holding and lighter handling at higher speeds.
Inside, you'll find a new carbon fiber interior with racing seats and the central shifter has been removed to use only paddles for the Light Speed Transmission. Weighing just over 3,000 pounds, it can reach 224 mph.
Said Christian von Koenigsegg, “This is our most focused track car. Every detail is tuned for speed and control.” Scheduled for release in 2025, the Sadair’s Spear is a combination of passion, legacy, and exceptional performance.
