A Maxim rider Jamerito Abrasada Paired, 49 years old, was robbed by his passenger Rodaive Asintesta Belleza, 37-years-old, in Barangay Talavera, Toledo City, this Tuesday, June 24, 2025 around 11:40 a.m.
According to the investigation, Belleza used the Maxim app and booked a ride from South Bus Terminal in Cebu City. The rider took her to her first destination in Tabunok, Talisay City, but she was still instructed to continue to Campo 1.
While traveling, the suspect declared a holdup and forced the rider to take him to Barangay Dumlog, Toledo City. Belleza allegedly took the ₱100 and threatened the rider not to report it to the police.
Paired found help from the police in Barangay Sangi. Within five minutes, Belleza was caught by the Toledo City Police. A gun and illegal drugs were confiscated from him.
Belleza is currently in custody while the cases to be filed against her are being prepared.
