A three-year-old girl was injured after she was run over by a Toktok passenger on Felix Huertas Street in Sta. Cruz, Manila.
According to the report, the child was about to cross when the Toktok suddenly brake, causing it to overturn and accidentally falling on the child.
Three Toktok passengers were also involved in the incident. According to them, the driver was allegedly speeding which caused the accident.
All injured are already in the hospital and recovering. A temporary agreement has been reached between the child's family and the Toktok driver while the incident is investigated.
The reminder to motorists to be careful when driving, especially in areas with many children and pedestrians, continues.
