A 10-wheeler truck loaded with school supplies and food fell into a ravine in Nueva Vizcaya on Monday, June 9. In the video, rescue teams can be seen busy getting the truck's occupants out.
According to Robelyyn Bermejo, who was at the scene, additional equipment was needed to rescue the two remaining passengers inside the truck. The truck was found deep in the ravine, and its contents were scattered on the road and in the surrounding area.
Two passengers were extricated and immediately rushed to the nearest hospital. There is no official report yet if anyone died in the accident.
The cause of the truck's fall is still being determined. It is possible that the slippery or dangerous part of the road may have caused it.
Rescue and investigation are continuing in the area as authorities continue to monitor the situation.
