A 67-year-old grandmother was the victim of snatching in Barangay San Agustin, San Fernando City, Pampanga. CCTV footage clearly shows the incident while the victim was holding her paper bag and shoulder bag.
While walking, a man suddenly approached the grandmother and tried to grab her belongings. The victim did not let go immediately and struggled, causing her to be dragged along the road.
Amidst the commotion, the suspect kicked the poor grandmother in the face until she finally let go of her bag.
CCTV also shows the man's rapid escape after jumping over the gate of a property near the area.
Despite the extreme fear and injury, the victim's family has not lost hope that the suspect will be caught and held accountable for his actions.
