The iconic German electronics brand Braun has teamed up with Japanese streetwear label NEIGHBORHOOD to revive retro-style clocks from the 1980s. Their limited-edition collab includes a alarm clock and wall clock featuring Braun's minimalist design and NEIGHBORHOOD's bold branding.
Led by the BC02 alarm clock inspired by the AB1 model from 1987 and the BC06 wall clock inspired by the ABW30 from 1981. With 24-hour and 12-hour dials, and available in black and white colorways, the clocks have a military-style feel that is sure to fit into the aesthetic of collectors.
Since 1921, Braun has been known for Bauhaus-inspired designs. Many of their designs come from the creative mind of Dieter Rams, a design legend from 1955 to 1997. For NEIGHBORHOOD's Shinsuke Takizawa, this isn't their first tech collab—they've also released a retro boombox and turntable. The clock collection is scheduled to release on June 7 on their official webstore.
