An unemployed man in Cebu City, in his 30s, was arrested after threatened his father for not giving him money. According to a police report, the son allegedly got angry because he refused to give him money that he said was for food.
According to the father, he has long suspected that his son was using illegal drugs. So even though he knocked on his bedroom door and repeatedly asked for money, he did not open it or give it to him.
The son allegedly threatened to kill the father if he was not given money. In fear, the father immediately went to the police station after the son left their house. With the help of the Mambaling Police, the son was caught under the flyover at around 10 a.m., June 3.
The man is now in custody at the Mambaling Police Station and has been charged with grave threats by his own father. Despite what happened, the family hopes that there will still be a chance to mend their relationship.
