The shooting at the Barangay Hall of Salitran 3, Dasmariñas City, Cavite resulted in four dead and one wounded this Monday morning, May 26, at around 8 a.m..
While the flag ceremony was being held, the suspect, identified as "Ariel", 50 years old and former barangay tanod, suddenly approached.
He approached from behind the attendees and immediately pulled out a gun then fired at the barangay officials in front of the hall.
The type of gun used has not yet been determined, and the investigation by authorities into the incident is still ongoing.
According to several witnesses, the suspect fled quickly after the shooting. Police are still searching for him.
