The AirCar by Klein Vision is set to hit the market in early 2026. The first flying car in 75 years will cost between $800,000 and $1 million USD. Its production prototype was displayed at the Living Legends of Aviation Gala in Beverly Hills, where Stefan Klein was honored for his Engineering Excellence.
The AirCar has a Certificate of Airworthiness and has successfully flown over 170 flight hours and over 500 takeoffs and landings. In just 2 minutes, the AirCar can transform from a street-legal car to functional aircraft. It has a 280-horsepower engine, composite structure, and advanced aerodynamics.
According to Stefan Klein, “This recognition is a great honor. AirCar is the fulfillment of my dream of making flying accessible.” Co-founder Anton Zajac said that AirCar is a combination of aviation engineering and automotive design.
The global air mobility market is estimated to be worth $162 billion by 2034, so they believe Klein Vision will play a key role in this field.
Expect the AirCar to hit the market in 2026 — a major step towards a new way of personal air travel.
