Toyota has unveiled the new 2026 Corolla Hatchback FX Edition with a design inspired by the '80s look of the FX16. Limited to just 1,600 units in the U.S., it's sure to become a collector's item. With sporty styling, retro wheels, and FX16-inspired badging, it's perfect for those who love a classic look with modern features.
Based on the SE trim, it has 18-inch white alloy wheels, black sport wing, and classic FX16-style badge on the rear. Under the hood, it has a 2.0L 4-cylinder engine that delivers 169 horsepower and 33 MPG, so it's gas-efficient, yet powerful.
Inside, it has black Sport Touring seats with suede inserts and orange stitching. There is also orange on the door panels, steering wheel and gear shift. Also included is a 7-inch digital gauge and wireless charging pad.
There are three colors: Ice Cap, Inferno, and Blue Crush Metallic. Also standard is an 8-inch multimedia system with wireless Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and "Hey Toyota" voice command. There are also trials for Wi-Fi Connect, Remote Connect, and other features.
Price will be announced in the coming months before it hits dealerships this fall.
