The charred bones of a 73-year-old man who was reported missing since May 3, were found in the yard of a house in Bataan on May 5. They were discovered during an operation by Orion and Limay police.
The suspect was identified as Al, who immediately confessed to the crime. According to him, he was fed up because the victim always told him whenever something went missing.
Based on the police investigation, Al stabbed the old man in the neck three times. Then he burned him in a pit in his yard using wood and rubber.
The suspect is currently in police custody. The documents needed for filing a case against him are also being prepared.
