The three people, including a minor, were caught by the PNP-DEG of the NCRPO after being caught selling vape with marijuana oil on Roxas Boulevard, Pasay City on Wednesday night.
According to P/Col. Darwin Miranda of the PNP-Drug Enforcement Unit, the operation stemmed from a tip about the group's activities. The police conducted surveillance and struck a deal to buy disposable vape with marijuana oil.
The buy-bust operation was launched in Barangay 2 at around 8:00 p.m.. When the payment was received, the suspects were immediately arrested after handing over the vape to the policeman who posed as the buyer.
Vapes worth P138,000 were confiscated from them. The young suspect is under the care of the DSWD, while his two companions are detained in the PDEG detention cell.
They will face charges for violating RA 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002. Investigations into the group are still ongoing to determine if they have other accomplices.
