During Nintendo Direct 2025.3.27, Bandai Namco announced the new Super Robot Wars Y game, which will be released on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, and PC in 2025. This is the first new console game since Super Robot Wars 30 was released in 2021.
Super Robot Wars is famous for its crossovers of classic mecha anime. In this new version, more new mecha and characters are included, including Gundam: Witch from Mercury and Macross Δ Movie: Passionate Walküre.
