Three children died in a fire that occurred in Barangay Mambaling, Cebu City on the morning of March 29.
The victims were identified as Sachna Lexy Siaboc (6), Razan Kyle Siaboc (3), and Athena Lexy Siaboc (3), who were found lifeless inside their bedroom on the second floor of their house.
According to initial investigation, their mother, Ynica Marie Siaboc, tried to rescue the children but was unable to enter due to the intensity of the fire.
An estimated 20 houses were destroyed. Investigations into the cause of the fire and the extent of the damage are still ongoing.
