Who is Baby Rollon? Meet the Viral Cyclist

Whether you're funny or annoyed, Baby Rollon is one of the most talked about people on social media right now. In his unique skits, he often challenges and trash talks with top cyclists and elite athletes. He always says: “Hanggang likod ka lang!” (You’ll only be at my back!). But just to be clear, this is just a joke and most of those he challenges know it.

Behind his cheerful persona, Ancelito “Baby” Rollon, a 22-year-old cyclist from Consolacion, Cebu, has a story full of hardship, oppression, and hard work. He grew up in Baguio City and experienced intense bullying — not from others, but from his own relatives. Because of this, he learned to be a joker to make people around him happy.

Rollon is currently studying at the Alternative Learning System (ALS) to finish senior high school. He stopped regular schooling after Grade 3 to help his family. As the second of 11 siblings, Rollon prioritizes helping his family over his own dreams. The bicycle he uses is not his — it belongs to his brother who saved up to buy a motorcycle to become a delivery rider. Out of kindness, his brother lent Rollon the bike.

Rollon loves to participate in races, but he often stays on the sidelines because he doesn't have the money to pay the entrance fee. “Instead of paying for the race, I prefer to buy rice for my family,” said Rollon. Even with trials, Rollon remains strong in his faith. "Thanks to the Sir, he really has a way to solve my problem. He is the only one I can lean on," said Rollon.

Whether you love him or hate him, “Baby Rollon” will definitely continue making videos to bring smiles to others and help his family. Despite the bashers, he is determined to achieve his dream.
