
On Tomas Morato Avenue, Quezon City, five vehicles were involved in a crash at just after 4 a.m. on February 15, 2026. According to reports, a black SUV was allegedly speeding before it plowed into four parked vehicles on the side of the road. Due to the force of the impact, it caused a series of collisions and severe damage to the vehicles.
According to witnesses, the SUV suddenly appeared and drove straight into the row of parked cars. One of the first to be hit was the vehicle of Adel Pineda, who sustained serious damage. Although the engine was still running, it was said to be making a strange noise and was considered unsafe to use. Another vehicle owned by Stephen Yabut was involved, with damage to the front and rear.
Some vehicle owners have announced that they will file legal action against the driver of the SUV. Fortunately, no one was reported injured in the incident. The driver is currently under the custody of the Quezon City Traffic Management Sector of the PNP as authorities continue to investigate the real cause of the accident. The police continue to remind drivers to be responsible to avoid such incidents on the roads.
