The call is said to aim for accountability and restoration of peace.
Despite this, the Philippines' position remains balanced, with historical ties with Israel and at the same time recognition of the State of Palestine. The country continues to promote the two-state solution, which aims to have free and secure Israel and Palestine with clear borders.
