VinFast PH has announced a revised battery subscription policy for the Philippine market, aimed at reducing the initial cost of electric vehicle (EV) ownership. The move makes the transition to green mobility more affordable and simple, while reinforcing the company's customer-first strategy.
In addition to the traditional purchase of a vehicle with a battery, buyers can now also choose an EV with a battery subscription. With this option, the upfront cost is reduced by up to 20%, depending on the model, while the monthly payment starts at P 1,600 and is based on the actual distance the vehicle travels.
Considered as a “lifetime battery warranty” solution, the subscription covers maintenance, repairs, and free battery replacement when the capacity drops to 70%. Even in the event of an accident, VinFast will cover battery-related issues, helping to reduce financial risk for owners.
For those who choose a vehicle with a battery, VinFast continues to offer up to 10 years or 200,000 kilometers warranty. Through the dual ownership model, Filipino consumers are given the freedom to choose the option that best suits their basic needs and financial capabilities.
According to VinFast's regional leadership, the policy aims to eliminate key market concerns and make EVs practical and accessible to every home. Along with free charging, flexible financing, and a residual value guarantee, VinFast continues to strengthen its presence in the Philippines with a broad lineup, strong aftersales support, and an expanding charging infrastructure.
