A journalist accidentally fell off a pier while covering an event in the Port Area, Manila early this morning on Monday, January 26, 2026.
According to media colleagues, while they were going to the bathroom, the journalist accidentally slipped and fell straight into the water. Personnel from the Philippine Coast Guard immediately took action to rescue him.
