A 48-year-old Korean national was arrested at NAIA Terminal 1 after arriving from Busan, South Korea. According to authorities, the suspect is facing a rape case involving a 24-year-old Filipina, in connection with an incident that occurred on October 31, 2025 at a hotel in Ermita, Manila.
Based on initial investigation, the victim, the suspect, and the victim's boyfriend, both Korean nationals, allegedly had a drink. The boyfriend allegedly left before the incident and never returned. The victim was left alone with the suspect and said she lost consciousness, causing her to have no memory of what happened next.
On November 4, 2025, the victim sought help from the Women and Children Concern Section to formally report the incident. A warrant of arrest was issued on January 12, 2026, and the suspect is among the police's most wanted. He is currently in the custody of the Manila Police District while legal proceedings continue.
