Denza has officially entered its vehicles into the Philippine market through BYD Philippines Corporation. The first models are expected to be available in four planned showrooms in Makati, Greenhills, Alabang, and Cebu in the first quarter of 2026. From their official photo, it is clear that they will be launching three products—two SUVs and an MPV.
Ang unang modelong iaalok ay ang Denza B5, isang mid-sized SUV na may 659 horsepower mula sa pinagsamang electric output. May malaking 31.8-kWh battery at 184-horsepower gasoline generator, kaya’t handa ito sa mga long drives at off-road adventures. Ang B5 ay may mga approach at departure angles na 35 at 32 degrees, kasama ang tatlong differential locks, kaya’t ideal para sa matitinding kondisyon ng kalsada sa Pilipinas.
Sunod naman ang Denza B8, na mas malaki kaysa sa B5 at may tatlong variant—Advanced, Dynamic, at Premium. Nagbibigay ito ng 680-horsepower electric output at may kasamang 36.86-kWh battery. Ang onboard generator ay lumaki rin sa 2.0-liters na may 245 horsepower. Tulad ng B5, ang B8 ay may tatlong differential locks at off-road modes, at posibleng magkaroon ng air suspension para sa mas mataas na ground clearance na 310 mm.
Ang huling modelo sa linya ay ang Denza D9, isang malaking MPV na may 292-horsepower electric motor, 40-kWh battery, at 130-horsepower gas generator. Katulad ng Lexus LM vs Toyota Alphard, ang D9 ay mas mataas ang equipment at presyo kumpara sa BYD counterpart nito. Makikita ito sa tatlong variant: Advanced, Dynamic, at Premium, kaya’t may options ang bawat buyer depende sa pangangailangan.
Sa kabuuan, ang Denza B5, B8, at D9 ay nagtatakda ng bagong pamantayan para sa electric at plug-in hybrid vehicles sa Pilipinas.
