The THACO Sleeper Bus is now officially operating on the Manila–Bicol route, after being turned over by BJ Mercantile, Inc. (BJM) is the first two units of Cagsawa Travel and Tours, Inc. This is a major step towards more comfortable, modern, and quality passenger travel in the Philippines.
Designed, manufactured, and assembled by Thaco Auto at the largest and most modern bus plant in Southeast Asia, the Thaco Mobihome is a new generation of luxury sleeper buses focused on a higher level of passenger experience.
The bus has 20 sleeper cabins made of premium materials, with LCD entertainment screen, bedroom light, Type A and C charging ports, and proper toilet. UV ceiling lights and ambient lighting provide a more luxurious and relaxing atmosphere throughout the trip.
According to Leilani Lim Tan, Vice President of BJM, the company is proud to partner with Cagsawa Travel and Tours to introduce sleeper bus technology that prioritizes passenger comfort while supporting the operational needs of operators.
For William Rogando, Director and Operations Manager of Cagsawa Travel and Tours, the company's goal is to become a model and leader in the industry. He hopes that the introduction of these buses on the road will encourage other operators to raise the level of service in public transportation.
