Jaguar has quietly ended a significant chapter in automotive history after building its last internal combustion engine (ICE) vehicle at its Solihull factory. The final model is a black F-Pace SVR, marking the end of nearly 90 years of gas-powered engineering for the brand.
For ten years, the F-Pace has been Jaguar's best-selling model, proving that it can combine performance, luxury, and SUV design. Rather than being sold, the last unit was transferred directly to the Jaguar Daimler Heritage Trust, in recognition of its historic contribution to the industry.
Now, Jaguar is fully transitioning to an all-electric future, expected to begin with the 2026 Electric GT. The upcoming model is targeted to be the company's most powerful road car, with nearly 1,000 horsepower and an estimated 430-mile range, signaling a new era for the iconic British brand.
