The modified muffler sport in the Koronadal City plaza on December 24, 2025, ended in a fight.
According to Terrence Ehimplar, chairperson of Barangay Topland, he gathered the youth who like to make noise during Christmas. While the sports were being held, a drunken man and boxer arrived and attacked the group.
Barangay personnel tried to stop it several times, but it still wouldn't listen and continued to disrupt the area.
The man who caused the disturbance will reportedly be summoned to the barangay to explain his disturbance and receive appropriate action.
