A new coffee shop from Thailand has arrived in Bonifacio Global City. Beanhound, which is under the Greyhound Café, has opened its first branch on Bonifacio High Street. It features bold and sweet Thai flavors, including the Mango Sticky Rice Latte, a Philippine exclusive made with local mango puree and oat milk.
On the menu, you'll find not only the usual coffees like Mocha and Cappuccino. There are also unique drinks like the Namhom Coconut Americano, which is mixed with coconut water and coconut flesh, and the Es-yen, which is known as the Thai version of the Spanish Latte. There's also the Irish Coffee (non-alcoholic), which uses beans stored in rum barrels. Their beans come from Thailand, Brazil, Papua New Guinea, and Sultan Kudarat.
According to Mark, Beanhound's coffee master, their coffee tastes more light, fruity, and floral—almost tea-like, as this is the preferred profile for Thais. They prioritize flavor over caffeine kick, so their drinks are suitable even if you're not looking for a strong wake-up call.
