A man, 25 years old, was injured after being shot by a drunk inside a bar in Tagum City, Davao del Norte early Monday morning.
Based on the statement of the waitress at the bar, the victim and the suspect, “Jecmar,” were reportedly having a good time drinking in Purok Bayanihan, Brgy. Magugpo West before the suspect suddenly became angry.
Upon returning home, the victim allegedly stole the song he wanted to sing on the videoke. As a result, the suspect pulled out a gun and shot the victim in the chin or jaw.
After the incident, the suspect reportedly fled the scene. According to police, the suspect may have become addicted because the victim often stole the songs he chose.
The victim is being treated at the hospital while the police investigation and hot pursuit continue to catch the suspect.
