Marcos Jr. mocks Zaldy Co's allegations while remaining in hiding. President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. insisted that the former lawmaker's allegations about P50 billion kickbacks in projects and budget insertions are "worthless."
Marcos called the allegations just online rumors and challenged the former lawmaker to return to the country to prove his claims. "He came back here, let him say it, people will know. Let him prove it. Why are you hiding far away? I am here, I am not hiding," Marcos said.
According to Zaldy Co, he could not return home due to threats on his life. He also showed photos of alleged deliveries from 2022 to 2025 for Marcos and his cousin, former House Speaker Martin Romualdez.
At the same time, Marcos Jr. reported that arrest warrants have been issued against Zaldy Co and others related to the flood control issue. Co insisted that the administration is trying to frame him as a “terrorist” to “bury” the truth.
