ModRetro Chromatic Handheld has released a special Rayman 30th Anniversary Edition, marking the return of the popular 1995 2D platformer. The game is still cartable and has a modern update while retaining its retro look and full-color packaging.
There are 30+ levels from the original game, along with the colorful world and action that Rayman is known for. Players will follow Rayman as he rescues Electoons from Mr. Dark. The art style remains the same but the colors, sounds, and performance are clearer for handheld displays.
The release includes collector items such as a printed manual and Chromatic Charm featuring characters from the series. The retro gaming vibe is still there but with added features like better saves and smoother movement.
The Rayman 30th Anniversary Edition is on sale on their website for ₱2,680 (from £44.99 / $44.99). The Chromatic handheld is available for ₱11,900 (from £199.99 / $199.99) and comes in 7 color options.
