In his 25-year career, he has played for Manchester United and Real Madrid, and has 143 goals for the Portugal national team — the most in the history of men's international football.
Ronaldo confirmed the news in an interview at the Tourism Summit in Riyadh where he admitted that the upcoming World Cup in 2026 would be his last match.
The 2026 FIFA World Cup will be the largest tournament in history, with 48 teams. The tournament is scheduled to begin on June 11, 2026, and will be held in the United States, Mexico, and Canada.
