The two Filipina domestic workers Imee Mahilum Pabuaya (24) and Aleli Perez Tibay (33) have been missing since October 4. They were last seen on CCTV at Yeung Uk Road, Tsuen Wan.
A hiker said he saw the two around 4:30 pm at Fu Yang Shan barbecue site, near Tsuen Wan MTR station. According to some acquaintances, the two were in a relationship and had allegedly taken out a ₱560,000 loan (equivalent to HK$80,000). Tibay's brother said someone else used the money and it suddenly disappeared.
According to Vice Consul George Soriano, they still do not have concrete information on the whereabouts of the two, although some say they flew to Poland to work. “For now, it's just speculation,” he said.
Pabuaya is 1.55m tall, weighs 50kg, has a round face, fair complexion, and has short brown hair. He was wearing a dark blue denim top, shorts, and white shoes. Tibay is 1.58m tall, weighs 50kg, has a slim build, a round face, fair skin, and has long black hair. He is wearing a light blue long-sleeved shirt, jeans, and white shoes.
