OpenAI has launched Sora 2, a new AI video generator with sharper realism, proper physics, and synchronized sound effects. This makes creating AI videos much easier than older models.
Along with Sora 2, the Sora social app was launched, invite-only on iOS, with a TikTok-style feed where all videos are AI-generated. The latest feature is Cameo, where you can insert your verified likeness into other people's videos, using consent-based control.
Sora 2 has a free tier with generous limits, while Pro subscribers can use the high-fidelity version. The app aims to provide a faster and more immersive AI video experience, and also allows you to remix and collaborate with other people's content.
Sora 2 is currently available in the US and Canada, with plans to expand globally. Invited users will receive an invite to Sora.com to try out the new app.
The price and subscription for the Pro tier will be approximately ₱1,500–₱2,000 per month, depending on the exchange rate.
