
Russia launched a massive missile and drone attack on Ukraine that lasted 12 hours. In Kyiv, 4 people were killed including a 12-year-old girl, while more than 40 were injured in various regions such as Zaporizhzhia, Odesa, Sumy, Cherkasy, and Mykolaiv.
Poland scrambled fighter jets to patrol its airspace after the attack. Several European countries have accused Russia of repeatedly violating their airspace with drones and fighter jets.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said Moscow's goal of killing and destroying continues, so the world must exert greater pressure on Russia. He added, "The Kremlin is profiting from energy sales while the war continues."
In addition to houses, a cardiology center and a kindergarten were also hit. Several buildings were almost completely destroyed and rescue efforts are ongoing. One of the survivors, Mark Sergeev, said it was a miracle that his children were alive after a missile hit their apartment.
According to the Ukrainian report, Russia has launched up to 643 missiles and drones in various parts of the country. It is estimated that ₱18.9 billion was spent on this type of large-scale attack.
