Netflix will premiere Physical: Asia on October 28, 2025. This is the first cross-border season of Physical: 100 and will feature 48 athletes from eight countries including Korea, Japan, Thailand, Mongolia, Turkey, Indonesia, Australia, and the Philippines.
One of the highlights of the show is the participation of well-known sports personalities such as Manny Pacquiao, former boxing champion, and Robert Whittaker, former UFC Middleweight Champion. It will also feature the intense rivalry between Korea and Japan that viewers will definitely be looking forward to.
According to producer Jang Hogi, the competition set is huge, reaching the size of five soccer fields. It used 1,200 tons of sand and 40 tons of steel, and features large structures such as a sinking ship and arenas inspired by traditional Korean palaces.
Traditional symbols such as Haetae, Jangseung totems, Seonangdang shrines, and costumes that reflect Korean culture will also be on display. The aim is to showcase cultural exchange in Asia as the participants undergo intense trials.
Physical: Asia will be part of Netflix's unscripted lineup starting October 28, 2025 — sure to bring fight, culture, and inspiration to viewers across the region.
