Red Fiber, Meralco's telecom unit, has entered the fiber-to-home market in areas covered by its operations.
Red Fiber announced that it has an internet plan starting at ₱1,000 per month with speeds of up to 100Mbps. There is also Plan 1400 with speeds of 300Mbps, and Plan 1900 that goes up to 500Mbps – perfect for small families working or studying from home.
Red Fiber is available in Metro Manila, Bulacan, Cavite, Laguna, and Rizal, and some parts of Cebu. According to the company, there is no additional fee for the modem and no lock-in period is required.
Red Fiber's offer of ₱1,000 for 100Mbps is more affordable than other internet plans in the market, making it a good option for families who want a fast and affordable connection.
