Mika Salamanca, Sparkle artist and content creator, has spoken out after the intense bashing she received for being friends with Kitty Duterte, the daughter of the former president.
In his post on X (formerly Twitter), he apologized to those who disagreed with their relationship. Many criticized Mika, even calling him two-faced for denouncing corruption while being friends with someone he called “nepo baby.”
According to Mika, "I understand where the disappointment and frustration are coming from and I am truly sorry. If I can only say one thing about this, I assure you that I stand and will always stand with the people."
The PBB Celebrity Collab Big Winner also admitted that he had questionable choices in choosing friends, especially when he was at the most difficult point in his life. But he clarified that his beliefs and principles were never affected.
Even before his explanation about the accusations that he is a “performative” and a “cloutchaser,” he immediately unfollowed Kitty Duterte.
