Comedian and TV host Vice Ganda issued a stern challenge to President Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos Jr. in the midst of the Trillion Peso March on EDSA.
Vice said: “You want a legacy in your name? Put all the thieves in jail.” He added, “We look up to you, President Marcos — not because you are our idol, but because we pay you and expect you to do your duty as our employee.”
Vice was joined at the EDSA rally by Anne Curtis, Iza Calzado, Donny Pangilinan, Darren Espanto, and Jasmine Curtis-Smith. The gathering aims to call for an end to corruption in the country.
It also supports other protest actions such as “Baha sa Luneta” and rallies in Cebu, Iloilo, and Baguio.
The rallies also commemorated the 53rd anniversary of Martial Law declared on September 21, 1972 by former President Ferdinand Marcos Sr.
