A security guard in Caloocan took a sibling and their nanny hostage after he was fired for allegedly using drugs. Negotiations lasted 6 hours before the suspect finally released the victims in exchange for the police chief.
According to the investigation, at 7 a.m., the suspect alias “Jessie,” 45, entered the house in Brgy. Amparo. Among those held hostage were alias “Jessema,” 19; her sister 11-year-old and housekeeper alias “Mary Ann,” 35.
One of the suspect's conditions was to be given a vehicle and armalite. As he was leaving the house, the police immediately arrested him. SWAT recovered the caliber .38 gun, but the suspect had a sharp and stabbed a police officer in the hand.
The suspect was shot and hit in the leg and back. He was immediately taken to the hospital along with the injured police officer. The police chief was also rushed after feeling chest tightness. Jessie is now facing charges of illegal possession of firearm, alarm and scandal, and assault.
