A motorcycle rider in Quezon City was killed after he was shot by two other riders along Salazar Drive, Brgy. Balon Bato. The incident occurred at around 8:30 p.m., after the victim dropped his wife off at a 7-Eleven on Quirino Highway.
The victim was counterflowing on the road and met two riders. They had an argument and the two stopped at the front of the road. The victim approached but was suddenly shot in the chest. The incident was captured on CCTV.
The victim, 30 years old, tried to run but collapsed shortly after. He was taken to the Quezon City General Hospital but was declared dead-on-arrival.
One of the suspects, identified as Kenneth, was arrested during a follow-up operation in Brgy. Sangandaan, Caloocan City. It was learned that one of the suspects has a pending drug case.
The incident caused alarm in the area and the search for the second suspect is ongoing.
