Actress Janella Salvador has spoken out about the issue that is being linked to her in connection with the breakup of Klea Pineda and Katrice Kierulf. Janella clarified that she had nothing to do with the two's separation.
During the media conference of the film “Open Endings” which is part of Cinemalaya 2025, Janella said: “I am not part of the breakup. I am not a third party. I just want to clarify and exclude myself from the issue.” She added that she is happy with her life now.
Klea Pineda, who is also in the film, also said that there was no third party behind her breakup with Katrice. Klea said she and Janella only became close because of the project and it was only natural for their friendship to develop on set.
In July, Klea confirmed her breakup with Katrice after almost three years of dating. According to her, it was a mutual decision and they chose to prioritize themselves and personal growth. She also emphasized that there was no cheating and that she still respects Katrice.
However, speculation online was inevitable after Klea and Janella were spotted together on several occasions. Some netizens also noticed some posts and likes that seemed to indicate intrigue. Despite this, both Klea and Janella clearly stated that there was no third party issue and that they preferred to be happy for the time being.
