The BMW R12 nineT can now be converted into a sideways-style flattrack with a new accessory kit priced at ₱159,000. Called the Tracker, it is available as a full bundle or separate components, and is exclusive to the nineT variant of the R12.
The bike's engine and handling remain unchanged. It continues to be powered by the 1170cc flat-twin engine, with 108bhp at 7000rpm and 85lb.ft of torque at 6500rpm. Accessories are purely cosmetic, such as a new cockpit fairing in metallic black, a cut-back front mudguard, and number boards that can be mounted behind the wheel.
You can also add a shortened tail piece, which eliminates the pillion seat, and Option 719 spoked wheels for an additional ₱44,000 to the price. Other accessories include a larger cockpit fairing, a single Akrapovič exhaust, and a TFT display to replace the standard twin clocks.
Although the photo shows the bike with number 35 and knobbly tires, this is selected and installed by the customer. The new kit is part of the larger R12 range, which includes the naked, cruiser, café racer, and retro adventure R12 G/S.
