A food delivery rider in Barangay Unang Sigaw, Quezon City was mugged and robbed by a motorcycle early this week.
The CCTV shows the three men who blocked and forced the rider off. They forced him off the motorcycle while pointing at his side. After getting the motorcycle, they quickly fled towards the EDSA Monumento.
Apart from the motorcycle, the cellphone and ₱5,000 that was supposed to be used to pay the rent of the house were also taken. According to relatives, the victim has been a food rider for six years and has been paying for the motorcycle for the past year and a half.
Due to the incident, the presence of guards in the area has been doubled. The barangay advises riders and residents to be more careful especially at night.
The victim and the barangay are already coordinating with the police to identify and arrest the suspects.
