
The Straw Hat Pirates will return for another adventure after confirming the production of One Piece Season 3 even though Season 2 has not yet been released. This was announced on August 10 at One Piece Day in Tokyo, Japan.
Season 3 will begin production in late 2025 in Cape Town, South Africa. Ian Stokes will serve as co-showrunner with Joe Tracz for the new season.
A first look at Season 2 has also been released, which will see the return of the Straw Hat Pirates with the goal of reaching the Grand Line. According to the official synopsis, they will face fiercer foes and more dangerous missions as they travel to exotic islands and fearsome enemies.
Still in the story are Monkey D. Luffy (Iñaki Godoy) and his crew of Roronoa Zoro (Mackenyu), Nami (Emily Rudd), Usopp (Jacob Romero), and Sanji (Taz Skylar). As shown in the previous teaser, the favorite Tony Tony Chopper will also make his debut.
Some of the new characters are David Dastmalchian as Mr. 3, Katey Sagal as Dr. Kureha, Sendhil Ramamurthy as Nefartari Cobra, and Joe Manganiello as Mr. 0.
