More than P1-million worth of shabu was confiscated from a couple and another man in a buy-bust operation in Barangay Concepcion Uno, Marikina City on Tuesday night.
According to the Marikina Police, they have been surveilling the three suspects for three weeks. They include a couple aged 45 and 42, one of whom is considered a High Value Individual, and a man aged 32, who is on the Street Level Individual list.
The suspects were caught after selling P1,000 worth of drugs to a poseur buyer. During the operation, 10 sachets of shabu weighing 150 grams and an estimated street value of P1,020,000 were recovered.
The suspects denied that they were selling drugs. According to them, there was only an argument. But they admitted that they used to use shabu. “It just feels good,” according to one of the suspects.
Currently, the three are detained at the Marikina Police custodial facility and will face charges for violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
