A suspect in the killing of an Italian priest in 2011 was abducted by armed men in Cotabato on Tuesday.
Jonie Corbala, wanted in the case of shooting Italian priest Fausto Tentorio, was riding a motorcycle when men stopped him in Barangay Santo Niño, Arakan.
According to witnesses, Corbala was injured before the assailants forcibly took him with them as they fled on a motorcycle.
Corbala has long been facing murder and kidnapping charges in a court in Central Mindanao.
At this time, it is not yet known who the armed men who abducted him were.
