Rustan's officer Paolo "Paowee" Tantoco died of cocaine use, according to a report by the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner.
Based on the case detail page, it was stated that the cause of his death was “cocaine effects” and it was classified as an accidental incident.
Before taking his life, Tantoco was diagnosed with probable atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease — a condition in which there is blockage in the arteries of the heart.
According to a report by Hollywood LA News, Tantoco is in the United States as part of First Lady Liza Araneta-Marcos's entourage for the Manila International Film Festival from March 4 to 7.
Paolo Tantoco passed away on March 9 at the age of 44 and was buried in the Philippines a few days later.
