The NG Road Racing Club is looking for more riders for their new classes that are more affordable and open to everyone. One of the classes is the Lightweight Naked Streetbike, which is open to the Suzuki Bandit 600 and Honda CB500. There is also the Golden Era Superbike for older superbikes such as pre-injection Japanese bikes from 750cc to 900cc.
These motorcycles used to compete in the Formula Prostocks Racing Club, which closed in 2024. Now NG Road Racing wants to bring back the spirit of this race, so they invite all interested riders to join. There is a full calendar of events that can be viewed online.
According to Keith Higgs, the club's Technical Consultant: “In terms of racing, it's really cheap. You can buy a Bandit and be racing for £1000. It's a CB500 even though it's smaller – it's lighter so it's quicker around corners.”
“Racing is safer than speeding on the road,” Higgs added. “Here you can go fast, with other riders who have the same motorcycle as you.”
“Mas ligtas ang karera kaysa sa mabilisang takbo sa kalsada,” dagdag pa ni Higgs. “Dito ka makakapagpatakbo ng mabilis, kasama ang iba pang riders na kapareho mo ng motorsiklo.”
